A historical location, one of the main examples of industrial archeology present in Palermo.

Today this area is used as an exhibition space for theatrical, musical, cinematographic events and cultural initiatives of all kinds.

 

Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa will host the eighth edition of the Palermo Tattoo Convention from 3 to 5 June 2022 in the "Spazio Tre Navate" pavilion.

Palermo Tattoo Convention has been confirmed as the international tattoo festival in Sicily since 2014. Edition after edition has involved some of the most famous artists in the world, including experimenters of new genres, trusted VIP tattooists and myths from the world of tattooing: for the 2022 edition the entire organizational system realizes the event in the spaces of the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa, in the heart of the city of Palermo, from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 June with the entrance open to the public starting at 11:00 and closing at 00:00.

 

Over 100 tattoo artists arriving from the most well-known studios of the local, national and international scene who will present the news related to the different tattoo schools and genres, each occupying their own personal stand so that visitors can get tattooed and, moreover, others are expected. different stands dedicated to displays of decorative elements, merchandising, cars and motorcycles, but also food, so there is no shortage of typical Palermo street food, desserts, ice creams and stands dedicated to beers and beverages in general.

 

The space outside the tattoo area will become the theater of skilled performers of different disciplines including burlesque, here the tattoo models will parade accompanied by expert DJ designers, it will be possible to appreciate exhibitions and graffiti creations by personalities of the sector, rock bands will play and rockabilly during the evening parties and above all the winning artists of the different tattoo contests that will mark the time of the three days will be awarded.

 

The previous editions have welcomed over 25,000 visitors and tattoo enthusiasts from all over Sicily and neighboring regions, over 5,000 tattoos have been made in 7 years and ... after a careful analysis of the sector on the territory, the organization can affirm that the public has grown both from a numerical point of view and from a cultural point of view.
